Welcome to White Crane Springs!

Come Garden with Us

White Crane Springs Community Garden has been providing beauty and pleasure to the Sunset District since 1972.

Our garden of approximately 80 individual plots and areas of community space is maintained by garden members in the true sense of “natural” gardening - the best organic practices, IPM (Integrated Pest Management) and sustainability projects including composting, sheet mulching and a Cob shed complete with a green living roof.

If you are interested in learning more about becoming a garden member, please go to the non-member info page.

White Crane Springs is open to the public during our monthly workdays. Workdays are alternating first Saturdays and first Sundays of the month, from 10 a.m.–noon, followed by a community potluck and gathering from noon–1 p.m. We list our workdays on the Events page.

Next work day

Sunday - April 7 from 10am-12pm

Spring is here. Let's welcome the season with another fun workday from 10am-12pm. As always, we will wrap up our time spent taking care of the garden by sharing lunch together. Please bring a dish to share with your fellow gardeners after working up an appetite!
